Position Overview

Our growing company is looking for a Manufacturing Helper to join our team! As a Manufacturing Helper you will assist Machine Operators on production equipment with an emphasis on safety and quality. As a member of the team, you will receive the training and experience needed to advance to the role of Machine Operator.



Schedule: Night, 8:00pm to 8:00am, 2/3 rotating shift


Pay rate: $21.28; Plus $1.00 shift premium

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Assist in the safe operation of production equipment to produce quality products by continual adjustments of gauges that control speed, temperature, and pressure.
* Understands and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
* Produce orders on time to satisfy customer needs and production requirements.
* Perform product labeling, packing, wrapping and helping to supply line for production.
* Assists with all required quality inspections, testing, and documentation.
* Comply with company standards with regard to housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areas.
* Helps perform routine preventative maintenance.
* Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
* High awareness toward safety.
* Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate/college-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary.
* Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.
* Extrusion experience.

Physical Requirements

* Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
* Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 30lbs.
* Hand/eye coordination.
