About the role
As a Facilities Technician, you're the behind-the-scenes hero who makes the Ultimate Fitness Experience possible. You'll tackle repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety checks across assigned clubs-keeping pools clean, equipment humming, and members smiling. You'll work within ServiceChannel to manage work orders, prioritize what matters most, and partner closely with club teams.

What you'll do

  • Own the repair & maintenance workflow in ServiceChannel-create, respond, and close out work orders on time (hello, KPIs!).
  • Keep aquatics areas in top shape-daily checks, chemical testing, and spa/pool maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair fitness equipment and general building systems.
  • Complete hands-on fixes: carpentry, painting, drywall, tile, basic plumbing/electrical/mechanical tasks.
  • Conduct regular safety and facility inspections; address hazards fast and communicate status updates.
  • Partner with the Director of Aquatics, Equipment Service Manager, and Facilities Manager to plan work and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain organized inventories for aquatics, maintenance, and equipment supplies.
  • Support after-hours/emergency on-call needs as assigned; travel between clubs and supply houses (mileage reimbursed).

What you bring

  • 5+ years in facilities, multi-site maintenance, aquatics, and/or equipment repair (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of commercial electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with ServiceChannel or similar CAFM/FMS.
  • A pro toolkit and the know-how to use it safely.
  • Strong organization, communication, and follow-through-you keep leaders and club teams in the loop.
  • A positive, professional, member-first attitude (and punctuality to match).
  • Valid driver's license and insurance; willingness to work flexible hours.

Nice to have (bonus points)

  • Facilities maintenance certifications.
  • Experience leading complex repair projects across multiple locations.
