What you'll do:

As the Senior Business Process, Internal Controls; for Aebi Schmidt Group based in Novi, MI, you will be instrumental in execution of the annual Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance program through testing design and effectiveness of internal controls.

You will perform various internal control functions and partner with stakeholders across regions and functions to ensure a consistent and effective SOX controls environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform risk assessments, scoping, and materiality annually for North America.
  • Oversee control design and implementation to address financial statement risk.
  • Manage audit scope, testing, remediation, and action plans.
  • Review and update process documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external audit teams.

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's or master's in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SOX, audit, or compliance.
  • Expertise in audit coordination and policy development.
  • Experience with AuditBoard.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CIA, CPA) preferred.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
