Manager Internal Controls \| The Shyft Group, Inc. \| Novi, MI Regular Employee \| Salary Exempt What you'll do: As the Internal Controls Manager for Aebi Schmidt Group based in Novi, MI, you will be instrumental in execution of the annual Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance program through testing design and effectiveness of internal controls. You will perform various internal control functions and partner with stakeholders across regions and functions to ensure a consistent and effective SOX controls environment. Core Responsibilities Manage business process risks and define mitigating controls. Review global tests of Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICFR). Manage SOX audit scope, testing, and remediation activities. Advise control owners on remediation plans for deficiencies. Serve as a subject matter expert on internal controls. Coordinate with internal and external audit teams. Provide status to Management. Partner with executive management globally to ensure the SOX environment is effective. What you need to be successful: Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 7+ years of experience in SOX, compliance, or audit. Manufacturing industry experience with in-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; AuditBoard experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CIA, CPA) preferred. Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus. Why The Shyft Group?
