Senior IT Internal Controls \| The Shyft Group, Inc. \| Novi, MI Regular Employee \| Salary Exempt \| $120,000.00 - 130,000.00 What you'll do: As the Senior IT Internal Controls for Aebi Schmidt Group based in Novi, MI, you will be instrumental in execution of the annual Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance program through testing design and effectiveness of internal controls. You will perform various internal control functions and partner with stakeholders across regions and functions to ensure a consistent and effective SOX controls environment. Core Responsibilities Assess IT risks and define controls to ensure SOX compliance. Design, test, and monitor IT General Controls for effectiveness. Oversee IT SOX audit scope, remediation, and documentation. Review security roles and enforce Segregation of Duties (SoD). Maintain SOX -compliant IT policies and procedures. Coordinate global IT SOX activities. Collect and review SOC reports for cloud applications. What you need to be successful: Bachelor's or Master's in accounting, Finance, or Information Systems. 5+ years in IT risk, compliance, or audit (including SOX IT controls). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; AuditBoard experience preferred. Strong understanding of IT change management and policy development. Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CIA, CPA) preferred. Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus. Why The Shyft Group?
