Operations Supervisor, Manufacturing

• Manage daily manufacturing and production operations to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals
• Develop a deep understanding of can components and manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in SPC, basic quality management tools, and software
• Oversee quality control and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure all safety programs and plant policies are followed
• Mentor and motivate your workforce
• Manage resources, labor records, and warehouse product flow
• Collaborate across all levels of the plant to deliver results in a 24/7 industrial manufacturing environment
• Grow into a future operation or manufacturing supervisory role at other Silgan locations nationwide

• Associate's degree or higher
• Supervisory experience in manufacturing, production, or plant operations
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to spend 40% or more of the time on the production floor and work flexible hours
• Talent to make public presentations in small and large group settings
• Desire to grow into larger operations or manufacturing management roles, including relocating to other plants across the country
