Location: Kennebunk, ME (with flexibility to cover in Sanford, ME)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Type: Full-time, onsite.

Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in medical clerical work? Pain Care is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Specialist to join our team in Kennebunk, with occasional coverage in Sanford.

About the Role:

As a Patient Service Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality experience for our patients by managing front desk responsibilities, supporting providers, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks.

  • Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Primary Location:Livewell Dr. Kennebunk, ME

  • Secondary Location (as needed):June St. Sanford, ME

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 months medical clerical experience required

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Proficiency in basic office software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems

  • Ability to multitask and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and check in patients, ensuring accurate and complete registration

  • Schedule and confirm appointments

  • Verify insurance and collect copayments

  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately

  • Support clinical staff with administrative needs

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
