Position Summary:

As a Maintenance Supervisor, where you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence across departments and shifts. In this position, you will provide technical leadership and support, empowering your team to succeed by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring they have the right tools, supplies, and equipment at their disposal.Safety is our top priority, and you will be instrumental in promoting a safe work environment while ensuring adherence to safe work practices. You will proactively address personnel, mechanical, and resource-related challenges to maintain productivity and boost team morale.
By ensuring compliance with company policies, Maintenance and Quality procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), you will help uphold our high standards. You will guide your team toward achieving safety and productivity goals, manage labor and material costs, and oversee work orders using SAP and shift handoff documentation.

Work Schedule: 2:00pm - 12:00pm The work schedule will follow a rotating pattern, with 2 to 3 consecutive days at a time, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivates and guides the team to meet all daily targets including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures (OGSMs)
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma, 5S, Lean Manufacturing - Blackbelt Preferred
  • Experience in Total Production Maintenance, TMP
  • Identifies and supports continuous improvement activities in process efficiencies, costs, and productivity
  • Implements sustainable improvements and procedural changes to enhance department performance
  • Uses Root Cause Analysis to investigate operational errors and recommends corrective/preventative action where needed for a positive result
  • Coordinates all equipment, maintenance and set-up activities
  • Recommends equipment upgrades and facilitates new equipment installations
  • Coaches and develops Maintenance members
  • Creates a safe and positive work environment for all associates
  • Ensures all paperwork is properly documented
  • Ensures all Maintenance Team members follow all SOPs, cGMPs, safety requirements and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of Utilities, Facilities, or Production equipment maintenance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience, including proven experience coaching and team development.
  • Minimum of 3 years of electrical & mechanical troubleshooting experience
  • CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) certification or direct experience in maintenance planning and/or supervision is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer systems; experience with SAP or AMM is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with proven leadership and planning capabilities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and coaching skills.
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and clarify complex issues.
  • Proactive in identifying and recommending new opportunities for improvement.
