The Role

Amphenol Military and Aerospace Operations is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to work out of a home office in our Central Region (ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, TX, MN, IA, MO, AR, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH, KY).

The key responsibilities of this Regional Sales Manager include, but are not limited to:



  • Provide pro-active, trusted leadership and support to the field sales team
  • Effective and timely submittal of necessary business reports on regional activity
  • Manage a 12-month forecast and design pipeline for your region and have knowledge and involvement on the critical opportunities
  • Work with business unit leadership to drive engagement in the region to ensure we are selling the entire portfolio of Amphenol Military and Aerospace Operations products
  • Assist field sales team in driving factory needs on behalf of their customers
  • Periodically present regional activity and performance to upper management
  • Coach individual team members to further their effectiveness as account managers, grow their pipeline of opportunities, and develop strategies to win new business for Amphenol
  • Be involved in the day-to-day activities as required and be a path of escalation for customer needs
  • Ongoing employee performance feedback and direction for improvement as well as annual performance reviews
  • Proactively pursue product training and periodic factory visits to ensure knowledge of product offerings and capabilities of each of the Amphenol Military and Aerospace Operations business units.
  • Develop and foster key relationships with customer management within the region


The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Regional Sales Manager at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, or business
  • Six years of direct field sales experience or marketing experience
  • Equivalent education/experience would be considered
  • Previous supervisory or management experience a plus
  • Frequent travel is required
  • Employee must live in the Central US region
