Job Summary (Primary function)

The Senior Director, Business Information Services (BIS), provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Dermatology business unit's applications, platforms, systems, and data warehouse. As head of the Dermatology BIS function, this role directs the BIS Sales & Marketing and BIS Market Access delivery teams to drive alignment between technology capabilities and business priorities. Serving as a business-facing technology leader, the Senior Director ensures the delivery of scalable, secure, and integrated solutions across CRM, Business Intelligence (BI), data platforms, and other critical commercial systems. Success in this role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, proven leadership, and a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical operations, including Sales, Marketing, Market and Patient Access, and Medical Affairs

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)

* Partner with Sales, Sales Operations, Market and Patient Access, Product Strategy, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Analytics, Forecasting, and other business teams to design and implement a sustainable, high-performing data strategy for Incyte's Dermatology franchise. Areas of focus include master data management, data warehousing, business intelligence, and sales force automation.

* Responsible for strategic and long-term roadmap development and curation of key data assets, business intelligence, and platform solutions consistent with Dermatology business unit needs and goals.

* In the BIS lead role, partner with business stakeholders to drive strategic alignment, shape requirements, and direct the development and implementation of CRM and business intelligence (BI) strategies, solutions, and tools.

* Manage and direct two BIS teams responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and integrated technology solutions across CRM, Business Intelligence (BI), data platforms, and other critical commercial systems.

  • Provide strategic direction, prioritization, and clarity to developers, business analysts, and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of technology initiatives.
  • Actively contributes to strategy and execution in architecting new data solutions and onboarding data sources that support business initiatives across commercial, market access, and medical teams.

* Partner with Incyte IT resources to respond to and ensure alignment on technical and security considerations.

  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that drive innovation, automation, and business value.
  • Ensure ongoing data integrity, availability, and adherence to key pharmaceutical regulatory standards-such as HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, and PDMA-to safeguard compliance and operational excellence

* State & Federal Reporting: Work with Compliance, as required, to prepare and deliver all state/federal required reports (monthly, quarterly and annually).

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

* Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.

* 12-15 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

* 10+ years of experience in master data management processes and platforms, with expertise in Dermatology sales, marketing, and market access solutions.

* 10+ years' experience with business intelligence software and data warehouse platforms.

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing and coaching direct reports.

* Previous experience supporting commercial, medical, and market access applications required.

* Advanced understanding of data warehouse and cloud (Azure/AWS) processes and systems.

* Experience with Retail, Specialty Pharmacy data, IQVIA Xponent PlanTrak, FIA, LAAD, and copay claims datasets required.

  • Experience with implementing integrations and reporting related to Patient Support Hubs strongly preferred.

* Demonstrated experience as a technical business partner supporting key business partners and groups.

* Proven ability and experience in multi-tasking with a commitment to delivering results within specified time constraints.

* Able to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting; willing and open to contribute to the team in terms of leadership, adaptability, competence, and execution.

* Able to communicate in a clear and effective way both, verbally and in writing, using appropriate communication techniques and tools.

* Innovative problem-solving skills - quickly identify potential solutions while considering possible impacts to other individuals and/or systems.
