Cove's Edge is a dually certified 76 bed Long Term Care and Skilled facility located on the Miles Campus of Lincoln Hospital in the heart of beautiful mid-coast Maine. Cove's Edge is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team!

Summary: This position consists of 40 hours per week, day shifts.

The Maintenance Mechanic II role performs advanced duties in Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, and mechanical fields to provide a safe environment for patients, visitors and employees. Responds to maintenance emergencies, performs preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Two years trade school or equivalent training and experience required.
  2. License/Certifications: State license as a Boiler Operator 3rd or 4th class (or Stationary Steam Engineer), or State licensure as Journeyman Electrician, Journeyman Plumber, or HVAC certification required; Valid Driver's License required.
  3. Experience: Two years of related experience required.
