Study Coordinator Proctor Foundation Full Time 86222BR Job Summary The incumbent will work on small and large projects or segments of projects and protocols with limited scope and complexity. Such work will include maintaining up-to-date protocols, maintaining participant consent forms, becoming knowledgeable about projects and protocols, assisting in the implementation of projects and protocols, traveling to domestic and foreign sites for project/protocol implementation and management, maintenance of data logs and specimens, and communication (as needed) with potential and Rev. 8/2016 active research project participants. Communication with foreign collaborating investigators in different time zones will be required, including initiation and maintenance of correspondence and engaging in meetings (both web-based and in person). The incumbent will have opportunities to learn about uveitis, clinical trial methodology, and gain experience with assisting in writing, reviewing, and implmenting research protocols. The main focus of the time will be exposing the incumbent to clinical research in ophthalmology and gaining hands on experience in this area by participating in ongoing projects. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $52,800 - $112,000 (Annual Rate).
