Installation Technician (TS/SCI w/ Polygraph Required)

Job Duties

Skills and Tasks - Complex
* Develops new concepts and processes.
* Analyzes root causes and resolves issues.
* Supports more junior level technicians and specialists in their activities.
* Can perform all tasks of lower level technicians. Works individually, actively participates on integrated teams and may also lead a task, project or team
• Troubleshoot desktop IT equipment and related peripherals (monitors, mice, printers, phones, etc).
• Replace/Install desktop IT equipment and related peripherals (monitors, mice, printers, phones, etc).
• Install approved software onto workstations.
• Majority of work will take place at DIAC, but ability to travel within the NCR (MD/DC/VA) is preferred.
• Provide expert support, analysis, research, and advice into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter.
• Coordinate with contract management and Government personnel to ensurethe problems have been properly defined and the solutions satisfy customer needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Assists more junior level technicians, specialists, and managers in their activities. Can perform all tasks of lower level technicians, specialists, and/or managers.
• Works individually, actively participates on integrated teams, and leads multiple tasks, projects or teams. Oversees and monitors performance, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI (CI Polygraph) required prior to consideration.

Training and Certifications
* DoD 8570 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required within the task order.
* Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required and IT environment specified within the task order.

Education and Experience
* High School Diploma + 8 years
* Associate's Degree + 6 years
* Bachelor's Degree + 4 years
* Master's Degree + 2 years

• Active TS/SCI clearance
