We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design, develop, and support electrical systems for balancing machines, facilities, and related equipment. This role involves electrical panel design, R&D, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and revise electrical panels, PLC systems, drive controls, and computer interfaces.
  • Develop and test new or modified products, including procedures, acceptance criteria, and reports.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation (fabrication, testing, change notices, operating/maintenance procedures).
  • Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on technical design and requirements.
  • Provide customer training and support, including on-site visits.
  • Conduct research and development for new and existing products.
  • U.S. Person status required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years' experience in electrical panel and power distribution design; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Background in industrial machinery & panel design.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (or similar); EPLAN P8 a plus.
  • Experience with PLC (Allen Bradley) and drive controllers preferred.
  • Strong ability to read/write technical documents and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, math, and computer skills; ERP knowledge (SAP preferred).
  • Must travel up to 10%, including internationally.
