This role involves electrical panel design, R&D, and customer support. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and revise electrical panels, PLC systems, drive controls, and computer interfaces.
- Develop and test new or modified products, including procedures, acceptance criteria, and reports.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation (fabrication, testing, change notices, operating/maintenance procedures).
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on technical design and requirements.
- Provide customer training and support, including on-site visits.
- Conduct research and development for new and existing products.
- U.S. Person status required.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years' experience in electrical panel and power distribution design; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Background in industrial machinery & panel design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (or similar); EPLAN P8 a plus.
- Experience with PLC (Allen Bradley) and drive controllers preferred.
- Strong ability to read/write technical documents and procedures.
- Excellent communication, math, and computer skills; ERP knowledge (SAP preferred).
- Must travel up to 10%, including internationally.
