To perform as a technologist and assist the physician with patients who have had a variety of invasive cardiac procedures including but not limited to diagnostic heart catheterization, interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiological, device implantations, and peripheral vascular procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Must possess current Radiography licensure as required by state board where services will be provided: MD: Radiographer license through the Maryland Board of Physicians OH: Radiographer license through the Ohio Board of Radiology PA: No state license required WV: Radiography License through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board. 2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography. 4. Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire. 5. State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas. EXPERIENCE: CAREER LADDER LEVEL REQUIREMENT:
OR one additional certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI):
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Obtain Dysthymia course certification through WVU Medicine within one year of hire. 2. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
