Responsibilities:
* Diagnose repair needs and perform designated repairs on Caterpillar and related construction equipment at customer sites or in the field.
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using diagnostic tools, including laptops, gauges, and instruments.
* Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
* Disassemble and reassemble machine components to manufacturer specifications using appropriate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and Fabick-provided specialty tooling.
* Occasionally operate equipment to assess repair needs and verify repairs.
* Use CAT service manuals, schematics, and technical resources to guide repair processes.
* Perform basic welding tasks as needed for field repairs.
* Research parts requirements and assist in ordering necessary components.
* Load and unload equipment or components from customer or carrier vehicles when needed.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA safety standards and all Fabick Cat safety policies.
* Accurately complete service reports, work orders, and documentation in a timely manner.
* Represent Fabick Cat professionally at customer sites, ensuring excellent communication and service.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
