Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour (depending on education & experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday (occasional evenings or weekends as needed)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a caring and motivated Social Work Assistant to support our case managers and social workers in providing essential services to clients. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or those new to the field who are passionate about making a difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with client intake, assessments, and documentation
• Help connect clients to resources such as housing, food assistance, employment, and healthcare
• Support caseworkers with scheduling, follow-up calls, and service coordination
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and community outreach events
• Provide administrative and clerical support as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, non-judgmental attitude
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency with basic computer programs (MS Office, Google Workspace)
• Bilingual a plus (but not required)
• Valid driver's license may be required (depending on role)
