Our SDG team in Gilbert, AZ is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their dynamic team. This Supply Chain Manager will be tasked with establishing and leading our local supply chain operations. This is a foundational role in a rapidly growing site focused on advanced avionics, propulsion systems, and motion control technologies for satellites and spacecraft. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong sourcing and procurement experience, capable of integrating legacy practices while building scalable, compliant supply chain processes from the ground up.

As our Supply Chain Manager, you will make critical contributions by holding responsibility for:

  • Build and lead the supply chain function at the Gilbert site.

  • Develop and implement supply chain policies, procedures, and KPIs.

  • Integrate heritage practices with modern systems to support Moog's high-reliability space programs.

  • Source and procure components for space-rated electronics, radiation hardened avionics and spacecraft buses.

  • Manage supplier relationships, including evaluation, negotiation, and performance monitoring.

  • Ensure compliance with ITAR, FAR, DFARS, and other defense-related regulations.

  • Oversee inventory control, demand planning, and material flow.

  • Support new product introduction and prototype builds with agile supply chain support.

  • Lead and mentor a team of 3 supply chain professionals.

  • Partner with Engineering, Program Management, and Quality to align supply chain strategy with technical and business goals and ensure on-time delivery of critical components.

To be considered for this Supply Chain Manager role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field. Equivalent years of experience will also be considered.

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing roles within an aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics environment is REQUIRED.

  • Familiarity with space-grade electronic components and avionics systems.

  • Strong ERP and MRP system experience.

  • Due to government contract obligations, US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency (Green Card Holder) is REQUIRED.

I would also be great if you had:

  • Experience standing up a supply chain function in a small or mid-sized company.

  • Knowledge of radiation-hardened electronics, fluid control systems, and spacecraft mechanisms.

  • Background in supporting Low Earth Orbit (LEO) to Deep Space missions.

  • Preferred certifications include:

    • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) - APICS/ASCM

    • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) - ISM

    • Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt or higher)

    • Project Management Professional (PMP)

    • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) - APICS/ASCM

    • ITAR/EAR Compliance Training

Salary Range Transparency:

Phoenix, AZ $110,000.00-$145,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
