Job Summary: The Health Education program is within the department of Student Health Services. The Health Education Coordinator will assist the Senior Health Education Coordinator focusing on promoting student well-being, health equity, and healthy behaviors through education, outreach, and program development in a diverse environment.This role involves assessing needs, creating and delivering health education programs, and evaluating their effectiveness to foster a healthy campus environment. The Health Education Coordinator will advocate policies and practices and connect students with relevant health services, resources, and support systems on and off campus. Job Description:
Minimal Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree (120 hours) in public, mental, and/or medical health education, social work, psychology, student personnel/affairs, nursing, education or communications. 2. Two (2) years (24 months) of experience conducting professional presentations, seminars or closely related programs and/or providing health education. Note: An applicant with a Master's degree in an area of health educationqualifies withone year of professional communications and/or health education experience DEPARTMENTAL PREFERENCES:
