Position Overview
The quality technician's primary responsibilities will be focused on performing first article inspections, evaluation of quality issues and performing quality functions such as programming, calibration, document control, and engineering change orders.

Schedule: 1st shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay rate: $20.00/hr
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
* Assist Quality Manager and Quality Engineer with evaluation of manufacturing and quality issues. * Perform first article inspections and feature verification checks and document results. * Program touch probe and vision CMM. * Control and maintain inspection equipment calibration program. * Perform gage repeatability and reproducibility studies. * Perform mold component and tool inspections and document results. * Maintain quality department documentation. * Perform receiving inspections as needed. * Communicate with customers to define quality requirements and/or resolve quality issues. * Perform system and shipping audits as needed. * Fill in as Quality Inspector, as needed. * Generate and control quality/manufacturing reports and records, as requested. * Lead/Participate in quality improvement projects. * Participate in plant-wide safety efforts. * Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications
- Education: Two-year technical degree and 3 years' experience, four-year degree, or ASQ, CQT/CQE certification
- Experience: 2-5 years' experience in quality manufacturing setting, experience reading blueprints, experience in Plastic
- Injection Molding preferred. Knowledge of International Organization Standards (ISO).
- Specific Skills: Calibration or metrology experience/certification, CMM programming background/training, strong mathematical skills, statistics background/training, ability to work collaboratively with internal & external teams.
- Equipment & Machinery: Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), PCDMIS, calliper, micrometer optical comparator, Chatillon force tester.
- Computer Experience & Software: CREO, PCDMIS, Minitab, Microsoft Suite, Statistical (exp. Infinity QS, WinSpc)
