Position Overview

Schedule: Night


Pay rate: $19.25/hr

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude is desired
  • Must have good communication skills both personal and via Email
  • Must have outstanding troubleshooting skills
  • Must have great eye to detail and discern between different colors
  • Must have good judgment with decision making in regards to Safety and Quality
  • Ability to complete production related documentation on both computer and paper forms
  • Must have excellent team skills
  • Ability to take direction from several individuals
  • Ability to work additional overtime if required to get the job tasks completed
  • Self-motivated and ability to make decisions


Position Responsibilities and Duties

This position includes but is not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:




  • Able to Dispense and match inks for production, able to color match to get correct delta.
  • Have basic computer skills to be able to input ink data into color match and look up ink locations.
  • Perform all required quality checks prior to ink going out to production order.
  • Make and pump adhesive for production orders.
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures.
  • Assist maintenance and process technician in troubleshooting
  • Follow the production schedule as issued by production control
  • Provide adequate turnover to the shift oncoming shift.
  • Coordinate special projects as they are assigned
  • Break out operators for lunches/breaks and fill in where/when required
  • Safely lift 40lbs of solvent and ink buckets.


Other Requirements

  • Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.
  • Ability to pass a hue and color vision assessment.
  • Able to work without close supervision and instruct others as necessary.
  • Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained.
  • Drive a forklift (with training)
  • Utilize fine manipulation skills (including but not limited to the use of a utility knife, scissors, tape measure, typing, writing, and hand tools)
  • Must be able to distinguish colors for product quality purposes
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management at all levels
  • Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications experience preferred.
  • Work overtime and weekends as scheduled

Tool Equipment and Material Requirements

  • Use of cutter, scissors, loupe, dyne pens, hoist, hand and power tools.
  • Operation of motorized material handling devices.
  • Responsible for equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks

Safety Requirements

  • Participate on safety observation teams
  • Wear all required PPE and PFS: beard/hair net, hearing protection, safety glasses and safety shoes.
  • Perform all duties using safe work methods
  • Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
  • Complies with all established site and department safety rules and policies.
  • Report unsafe conditions, all accidents and near misses immediately to TPL or his/her designate.

The employee is required to perform on up to a12 hour shift to:



  • stand - 70+%
  • walk - 70+%
  • sit - 10%
  • reach overhead - 10%
  • kneel - 10%
  • bend - 30%
  • climb stairs - 10%
  • must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds overhead to a height of 72 inches repeatedly over a 12 hour shift.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include average vision, color and depth perception.
