About the Role: Dragos has an opportunity for aSenior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing Quality Engineering team and make great contributions to our mission of Safeguarding Civilization. As a Senior SDET, you will be embedded in a Product Team focused on testing the Dragos Platform. Here, you will document, automate, and execute test cases in support of new features and functionality. Testing can consist of bare metal, virtualized, and containerized environments. You will have a large impact on the quality of our products. You will automate test cases and test pipelines to provide fast feedback to your Product Team, ensuring the changes you make add value. Responsibilities: Create and maintain test pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Triage and maintain automated regression tests Raise defects to your Product Team and file tickets with appropriate information in Jira Collaborate with Product and Community teams to automate the validation of features based on system requirements Provide feedback on new system features, advocating for testability and ease of automation Identify opportunities to improve test capabilities and procedures to achieve increased efficiency in the validation of various bare metal and virtualized configurations Proven Analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively prioritize & execute tasks in a high-pressure and time-to-market environment Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in a Test role Strong experience in creating CI/CD pipelines Strong command of UNIX/Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces, from an administrative perspective Strong experience with Python, PyTest, shell scripting, Jenkins, and Git Demonstrated expertise with and understanding of TCP/IP, including routers, switches, rewalls, and familiarity with the OSI Network Model and how it relates to Linux/UNIX components Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems Excellent communication skills, fostering collaboration within cross-functional teams and mentoring junior team members Compensation: Salary:$142,000 Competitive Equity Package Comprehensive Benefits Plan #LI-NH1 #LI-REMOTE Dragos is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other basis forbidden under federal, state, or local laws.
