The Role
The Presidio Splunk Solutions Practice (SSP) Vice President, Services Delivery lead and oversee all aspects of SSP engineering and customer experience services delivered to Presidio customers. This role will also be a member of the SSP Leadership Team that is charged with leading the overall business execution of the Practice.

Responsibilities include:



  • Lead the team of engineering professionals that deliver Splunk engineering services to customers on behalf of the SSP.
  • Lead the team of customer experience (CX) personnel that deliver SSP subscription services and managed services to Presidio customers.
  • Lead the SSP team of Solutions Architects that are responsible for pre-sales engineering support and the creation of SSP statements of work.
  • Build and develop the SSP engineering, CX, and Solutions Architect teams to affect the creation of specialized roles and expertise. This responsibility includes the development of Consulting Engineers that will act as senior interfaces to customers during the delivery of critical projects.
  • Working with Presidio Talent Acquisition teams, lead the efforts associated with identifying and recruiting top engineering talent to join the SSP team.
  • Working with the SSP Leadership Team, design, build, implement, and oversee streamlined processes for building services statements of work to compress the time needed for Presidio sales personnel to provide proposals to customers.
  • Lead the design, build, implementation, and oversight of defined SSP services deliver processes, standards, and SLAs. The objective with this effort is to create an SSP Delivery Framework for all engineering and CX services delivered to customers.
  • Working with the SSP LT and the RevOps Program Manager, lead all efforts associated with the production of weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting of the SSP engineering and CX teams.
  • Develop a skills training framework for all SSP technical personnel and oversee the execution of training tasks for all SSP technical colleagues.
  • Working with the SSP LT, lead the effort to align all SSP services delivery efforts with the best practices as described by the Services Performance Insight (SPI) Services Maturity Benchmark.
  • As a senior member of the SSP team, act as a liaison to executives at SSP OEM partners and also with customers.
  • Lead all efforts associated with the SSP achieving and exceeding defined revenue, gross profit, and personnel utilization metrics and objectives.


Required Skills and Professional Experience



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • Overall 15+ years of management and leadership experience in a technology services delivery organization.
  • Skills and experience in the creation of financial models and budgeting needed for managing all aspects of the financial performance of services delivery teams.
  • Superb team building skills and the ability to identify and attract top-tier technical talent.
  • A proven track record of achieving year-over-year revenue and profit growth associated with services delivery that is executed on a national level.
  • Specific experience with using AI and associated AI agentic technologies for the purpose of reducing redundant tasks and optimizing services delivery operations.
  • Solid presentation and communication skills for both internal and external requirements.
  • A core understanding of foundational enterprise technologies and the ability to learn about the technologies that the SSP will support.
  • Solid writing and financial modeling skills.
  • Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
  • Must be a US Citizen.


Preferred Skills and Professional Experience



  • Possess a robust network of current industry and customer contacts that can be leveraged to grow the SSP services business is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in supporting sales personnel and associated go-to-market activities is desired.
