JOB SUMMARY: Provides process engineering support, coordination and leadership, in the areas of process design, project management, process sanitary design, statistical analysis, in-process control techniques and provide analytical insight and data interpretation for projects and initiatives. Supports the development and commercialization of new processes, process improvements and technical systems. Responsible for coordinating various aspects of product development and product commercialization activities, identifying and leading continuous improvement efforts as it relates to process, materials & procedures and facilitating the development of process engineering skills.

Work schedule: Monday - Friday, however, hours could vary to support business needs or project schedules.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Coordinate activities, as required, to ensure that a safe and healthful environment is provided for all employees and compliance to all government regulations and corporate policies are maintained with respect to equipment and process design. This includes leading design safety reviews as required.
* Participate in developing process designs that conform to sanitary standards, government regulations and have the capability to produce products that meet customer and business requirements.
* Provide leadership and coordination for the commercialization of new products and processes. This includes serving as a liaison between Facility Manufacturing, Product Development and Global Engineering to insure compatibility between product design and process capability and the development of the required technical systems required to meet business objectives.
* Provide technical coordination, expertise and analysis in resolving process quality issues, developing in-process control procedures, reducing process variability, performing capability analysis and developing process centerlines.
* Participate in the following activities as required: Global Engineering budget process, capital budget process, project scope development, capital request justification and submission, management of capital projects, and technical / business analysis.
* Provide support and coordination to drive global continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, cost and asset management that impact multiple processes and/or facilities.
* Participate in the development and implementation of standardized engineering and manufacturing systems and standards across the folded wet wipe facilities.
* Provide support with respect to utilizing and teaching statistical process control and analytical techniques to Global Engineering and Manufacturing Facility personnel.
* Provide analytical support to Quality and Purchasing Teams in working with raw material suppliers to resolve quality issues and realize cost savings opportunities.
* Provide leadership in analyzing production, waste and delay information to identify opportunities to maximize output, reduce waste and improve overall asset efficiencies.
* Participate in the development, implementation and conformance to financial policies, technical guidelines and internal controls.
* Communicate fully with seniors, subordinates, and others who have the need to know. Communications should be prompt, complete, candid and clear.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent field of study with three (3) years experience; or equivalent demonstrable skills and aptitude with six (6) years of relevant experience.
*
Extensive background utilizing advanced statistical applications and in-process quality control techniques.
*
Strong analytical skills.
*
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate utilizing written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
*
Must have intermediate math and computer skills and possess the capacity to learn more advanced math and statistical methodologies.
*
Must be well organized with the ability to support and participate in multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
*
Ability to develop training materials and effectively train adult learners.
*
Capacity to enhance education and technical skills.
*
Ability to obtain a passport and to travel domestically and internationally.
