We are currently hiring a Quality Engineer to join our Engine Third Party Manufacturing Operations team. This role supports global operations and offers the opportunity to work directly with customers, suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams. The candidate will be responsible for managing supplier quality performance, supporting customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply base.

Qualified candidates must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN facility.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support product quality by development and implementation of methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure products are free of flaws and function as designed.

• Facilitate communication and issue resolution between customers and suppliers for quality rejections.

• Review Supplier PPAP submissions for approval and prepare and submit PPAP documentation to customers.

• Monitor and report key quality metrics (e.g., PPM, CoPQ) for internal and supplier performance; compare results to plant goals and escalate as needed.

• Participate in and lead internal and external audits (VDA, ISO, IATF, etc.).

• Support supplier transitions and new product introductions, including creating bank build timelines and communicating quality expectations.

• Supports product quality by development and implementation of methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure products are free of flaws and function as designed.

• Ensure supplier compliance with customer-specific requirements and current supplier quality manuals.

• Supports product quality by development and implementation of methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure products are free of flaws and function as designed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quality or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant engineering or manufacturing experience

• 1+ years of Quality Engineer or working with Quality Management Systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with IATF

• Understanding core quality tools- PPM, PPAPS

Annual Salary Range: $60,00 - $75,800.Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
