Drive a proactive "hunter" mindset across the team, emphasizing outbound sales, client acquisition, and consultative selling. Provide hands-on coaching to elevate performance and partner with the growth marketing team to align demand generation with sales goals. Oversee forecasting and strategic planning to ensure consistent revenue growth and market expansion.

Team leadership and development: Hire, motivate and manage team members to achieve individual and collective goals. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Support professional development through coaching, training, and career growth opportunities. Build employee capacity to optimize their contributions to the organization.

Collaboration and Enablement: Sit as a part of the Engagement Solutions Leadership Team advising and collaborating with the team on business needs. Work with Go-to-Market teams to build and execute effective sales and marketing strategies. Align team efforts with broader organizational goals and market opportunities. Support sellers with tools, insights, and strategies that drive revenue growth. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Operational Leaders and other key stakeholders.

Client Acquisition and Revenue Generation: Responsible for identifying and securing new client relationships to drive revenue growth. Conducts discovery meetings and outside sales calls to understand client needs and present solutions. Collaborate with the team to generate new business through: Referrals and inbound inquiries, cold calling, participation in trade show and industry events. Participates in industry-specific associations and events to build professional networks and stay informed on market trends. Maintains deep understanding of company products, services, pricing structures, and delivery methodologies. Maintains accurate client records and sales activity using CRM platforms including: Hubspot and Salesforce. Forecasts account activity and anticipated revenue to support strategic planning.

Marketing Team Leadership: Manages a small growth marketing team focused on demand generation, lead nurturing, and campaign execution. Sets clear goals and KPIs for marketing initiatives aligned with sales objectives. Ensures effective collaboration between marketing and sales to improve lead quality and conversion rates. Monitors performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize ROI and pipeline growth. Developing digital campaigns, content strategies, and marketing automation workflows.

Client Relationship Management: Supports account retention by monitoring relationship dynamics and client satisfaction in conjunction with Client Operations. Provides strategic direction and support to team in managing client relationships, delivering value, and identifying growth opportunities. Monitors account health and proactively address issues to maintain long-term partnerships. Reviews account performance and develops renewal and upsell strategies.

Qualifications

1. Proven success in scaling sales and marketing functions within a startup or high-growth environment, ideally in marketing professional services or B2B sectors, with a track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion.

2. Experience in hiring, onboarding, and retaining top talent. Skilled in fostering inclusive, engaged teams and supporting professional development through coaching and performance management.

3. Expertise in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies, including digital, content, and event marketing, with a focus on demand generation and brand positioning.

4. Ability to develop and implement go-to-market strategies that align with organizational goals and respond to market opportunities. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

5. Skilled in working across departments-particularly with operations, marketing, and client services-to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of business goals.

6. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with experience in conducting discovery meetings, delivering proposals, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

7. Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.

8. 10+ years sales experience with 5+ years' experience with Marketing.
