Job Overview:

Provides in-depth pre and post-sales technical support for our products to Sales personnel, partners (i.e. distributors/resellers), OEM customers, and end users. Works directly and indirectly with customers to ensure the best possible match between the company's product and the customer's application. Functions as a liaison between the customer, Sales and Product Management. Assists in the development and facilitation of technical training to relevant Sales personnel and partners.

Responsibilities:


  • Supports Sales, OEM customers, and partners with recommending solutions to match customer requirements and specifications.

  • Provide guidance and answer questions about product specifications, technical attributes, and commercial differentiators.

  • Provides feedback to sales team, distribution partners, and customers as required around applications of vacuum products.

  • Delivers clear suggestions around the selection of appropriate technologies and products for specific customer applications and highlights pros and cons of potential solutions to ultimately helps drive new business to the company.

  • Liaise with other functional teams and customers to aid in the resolution of product performance and quality issues.

  • Develop and deliver (online, in-person) product and application training for commercial team members and partners.

  • Execute process to setup new and update products in partner channel, including preparation of the required templates and monitoring progress.

  • Work closely with Product Management to document voice of the customer for future strategic initiatives.

  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.



Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

  • 3+ years of experience supporting commercial operations (sales and customers).

  • Experience capturing customer requirements and translating them into recommendations (sizing and selection of equipment based on customer requirements).

  • Great presentation skills and experience interfacing with customers in a commercial setting.



Preferences:


  • Salesforce experience.

  • Experience with vacuum equipment.
