Wide scope of responsibilities; all related to ensuring high quality processes related to medical record responsibilities. These responsibilities encompass master patient index maintenance (MPI), HPF record data integrity review and resolution, quality checks on transcription and processes in department.

REQUIRED:

1. High School graduate or equivalent.
2. Four (4) years' experience in Hospital medical record department required.
3. Typing skills 40 wpm.
4. Ability to perform proficiently with computers (including but not limited to mouse navigation, keyboard use, basic navigation within Microsoft Windows and understanding common computer terminology).
5. Excellent customer service skills. 6. Good oral and written communication skills.

PREFERRED:

1. Ability to operate standard office equipment (examples: copier, fax machine).
