Position Title: CNC Lathe Set-Up Operator
Wage: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm QPS Employment Group is looking for a skilled Vertical CNC Machining Center Set-Up Operator to join a growing team in a clean, climate-controlled shop environment in Hartland, WI. This is your chance to work with Haas machining centers, sharpen your technical expertise, and be part of a company that values precision, quality, and craftsmanship. CNC Lathe Set-Up Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up and operate Hardinge and Haas CNC lathes. - Work with Fanuc & Haas controls; perform tooling offsets and minor program edits as needed. - Perform hourly part inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment. - Accurately complete quality documentation and maintain production records. - Troubleshoot set-up or machining issues to keep production running smoothly. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment. CNC Lathe Set-Up Operator Requirements: - Prior CNC lathe set-up and operation experience (Hardinge or Haas preferred). - Familiarity with Fanuc & Haas controls. - Ability to perform tooling offsets; program editing experience is a plus. - Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. - Strong blueprint reading and part inspection skills. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
