Job Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist will own the end-to-end process for credit card and expense report processing, reconciliation, and reporting across a high-volume environment.
  • Audit and process employee expense reports in Concur.
  • Reconcile credit card statements and out-of-pocket expense submissions with speed and accuracy.
  • Perform detailed reconciliations across multiple accounts and assist with monthly close activities.
  • Prepare and post journal entries and reclasses to ensure accurate financial reporting and GL alignment.
  • Provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Partner with Accounting and cross-border teams on projects to automate manual workflows.
  • Protect sensitive financial data and maintain organized, accurate vendor and employee records.
  • Serve as a backup for invoice review and other AP functions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Concur auditing and processing for numerous credit card transactions and out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Strong reconciliation experience across multiple accounts, including credit card statements for multiple cardholders.
  • Knowledge of GL accounting and how it relates to AP and expense charges.
  • Hands-on experience with journal entries and their effect on financial reporting.
  • Strong Excel skills (advanced level).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Customer service mindset with the ability to communicate across departments and staff nationwide.
  • Ability to manage frequent interruptions and return to tasks without loss of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Ability to streamline and improve processes for efficiency.
  • Some technical experience assisting with automation of processes.
  • Knowledge of Concur/Yardi integration a plus.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, taking ownership of work product and completing work within specified deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Solid math and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Salary Range

Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
