A leading provider of core components for global car manufacturers, VS Company is supporting the emerging trend of the vehicle industry. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the company's overall supply chain strategy to ensure seamless material flow, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business objectives
- Analyze customer operational requirements and industry standards to develop compliant processes and strengthen partnerships with key OEM customers
- Establish and administer EDI connections with customers to improve transaction accuracy, visibility, and operational efficiency
- Design, standardize, and monitor end-to-end operational processes, ensuring alignment between internal policies and customer requirements
- Drive system and process improvements, implementing scalable solutions to optimize supply chain performance and enhance data integration
- Coordinate warehousing, transportation, packaging, and cross-border compliance, with an emphasis on cost control and operational excellence
- Support daily logistics execution, including shipping order releases to 3PL warehouses, shipment monitoring, and ASN (Advance Shipping Notice) verification
- Handle all inventory transactions-receiving, shipping, sub-inventory movements, model changes, returns (RMA), scrap, and adjustments-to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Facilitate daily inventory reconciliation, investigate discrepancies, and implement preventive measures to maintain data integrity
- Ensure timely arrival of all required materials and develop contingency plans to manage backorders and critical part shortages
- Monitor 3PL warehouse performance through KPI reviews, identify performance gaps, and facilitate corrective actions to improve service quality and reduce costs
- Conduct customs clearance activities, including tax/duty payments, CBP issue resolution, and duty drawback processing
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce lead times, and enhance collaboration across procurement, logistics, and IT teams
- Collect, analyze, and present key supply chain metrics-such as Lead Time (L/T), Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), and month-end inventory forecasts-to senior management for strategic planning
- Support long-term supply chain strategies to enhance agility, compliance, and overall business performance
- Collaborate with HQ sales, who is in direct contact with HQ purchasing, MFG, and supply chain. Help to support any issues that can be resolved locally
- Responsible for checking contract prices and terms, setting up new customer accounts and making sure shipments are meeting requirements and payments have no issues
- Maintain direct communication with the customer and take the lead in coordinating discussions between regional teams and departments to develop and deliver effective solutions
- Perform other supply chain management-related duties as assigned to support corporate goals and growth initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of work experience in Supply Chain Management (Automotive industry experience preferred)
Preferred:
- Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with OEM and Tier-1 supply chain management
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
- Hands-on experience with ERP and WMS systems and warehouse/inventory management
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle complex customer and operation issues
- Proven ability to track and report operational results to management and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize business performance
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong communication and process documentation skills
- Bilingual proficiency in both Korean and English
