We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Manufacturing Plant Manager to oversee our second shift operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of the manufacturing process during the second shift, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Shift: Second Shift (Typically 5 PM - 3:30 AM) WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Oversee and lead all manufacturing operations during the second shift. Ensure production schedules are met and that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. Supervise and lead a team of production supervisors, providing guidance, training, and support. Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks. Address and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the shift. Collaborate with other shift managers and departments to ensure smooth transitions and communication. Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and employee performance. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures. Experience with lean implementation.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Management or similar is helpful Minimum of 5 years experience in a lean manufacturing environment with increasing responsibility in areas such as production supervision, operations coordination, or process improvement.
