Position:Programmer Analyst
Location:Greater Boston, MA (Remote - with occasional travel up to 4 times per year) Length:3+ years *W2 Candidates Only, No C2C, USC Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Programmer Analyst to support a dynamic Enterprise Data Analytics team. This group is advancing how data is accessed, trusted, and applied to deliver faster, deeper insights across the organization. The Programmer Analyst will play a key role in designing and maintaining the workflows, algorithms, and applications that form the backbone of enterprise analytics solutions. This includes developing complex SQL queries, building advanced Power BI solutions, integrating data from diverse sources, and ensuring secure, scalable platforms that drive data-informed decision making. Q: A NTH is full stack developer. Can you give more information on that? A: If they have done full stack before, they can come up with ideas based on previous experience. Good knowledge they could also contribute with. Q: How much will this individual be interacting with key stake holders? A: This will mostly be by the leads but there could be time to time where this individual would engage. Q: Should candidates have development experience when working with API's? A: Yes. Q: What does a day to day look like for this individual? A: PM goes through the backlogs and sees where the work needs to be prioritized. That information is handed to the TL's and the TL's will need to pass the work onto the correct team and establish what needs to be done. Q: For SQL, when it comes to data modeling do they need that background? A: This helps. If someone has worked on SQL platforms, they should understand the star schema, etc. Without the modeling knowledge it would be challenging. Q: What is the break down of work this person would be doing? A: As of right now it would be 40% Power BI, 40% SQL and 20% API. Q: Integrating with SAP analytics, success factors, Concur. A: Using API connecting to those systems that can use SQL views that can be used in the API Q: Examples of API Platforms? A: Any API platform will work. Postman, is a good one. Q: What does timeline look like to start interviews? A: Hopefully this week. Q: Should we submit candidates who were previously submitted to a similar posting that maybe did not get interviewed due to you locating another candidate to hire? A: Would like to see a new batch of candidates. Q: What does the travel look like on site? A: Travel may be 1-2 times a year. Q: What is the schedule this person should be prepared to work? A: Candidate must be able to support and EST work schedule. |
