Position: Optoelectronics Test Development Coop Number of Position(s): 1 Duration: 4 Months Date: January - May 2026 Location: Onsite in Allentown, PA EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS Currently a candidate for a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field at an accredited school in the US. Participate in coherent optical subsystems test set development Design and develop manufacturing test solutions Define and configure required test instrumentation hardware Develop and support automated manufacturing test infrastructure Develop and maintain software applications built on .NET Hands on experience with optical and electrical test and measurement equipment including programmable optical power meters, attenuators, and switches, optical spectrum analyzers, digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes Basic understanding of electronics, with the ability to read electrical schematics and comprehend technical documents Proficiency in .NET and VB or C# programming language, including object-oriented programming concepts Foundation in database concepts and experience working with databases, like SQL Server It would be nice if you also had: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of analyzing complex problems and developing effective solutions Experience with Azure DevOps Strong communication skills Come create the technology that helps the world act together Nokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed and cloud networks.
