The Wadsworth Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at West Virginia University (WVU) invites applications for part-time instructor positions to support its program mission.

In particular, the candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas are highly desirable:

  • Environmental Engineering and Water Resources (e.g., air pollution and control, solid and hazardous waste management, wastewater engineering, etc.)

  • Construction Management

  • Geotechnical Engineering

  • Transportation Engineering

Qualifications
  • Eligible candidates must hold an earned doctorate in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment.

  • Candidates with an MS degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited university with 3+ years of experience will also be considered.

  • Candidates with active research experience in their area of expertise, academic publications, and an interest in advising/mentoring doctoral students are highly desirable.
