Position Summary

The Director of Enterprise Architecture is responsible for ensuring the Bank has a streamlined technology infrastructure and that supporting functions are in alignment with our business objectives. This position plans, coordinates, directs and designs technology infrastructure and support operations to support the Bank's goals and best serve our clients and bankers. This Director of Enterprise Architecture leads the Infrastructure and Technology Support teams and works collaboratively across all departments. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure the best technology infrastructure solutions for the Bank through knowledge of cloud and data center infrastructure.
  • Provide leadership and management to the Infrastructure and Technology Support teams
  • Develop strategic multi-year technology plans to support the business objectives of the bank.
  • Act as primary point of contact for infrastructure and support vendors such as data center providers, telecom vendors, and video conference support partners.
  • Provide guidance, oversight, and management of Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions.
  • Ensure proper and secure operation of Mobile Device Management software and processes by regularly monitoring reports and device compliance.
  • Monitor network infrastructure and virtualization solutions to include updates of firmware to ensure secure operations of infrastructure.
  • Ensure the Bank's VoIP solution is efficient and effective; recommend improvements to bandwidth, infrastructure or end user devices to support proper operation.
  • Develop professional business cases and presentations for the executive management team and board.
  • Ensure all Infrastructure and Technology Support functions are consistent and compliant with all relevant Bank policies, professional standards, legal requirements, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Drive continual process improvement to streamline business processes, increase efficiencies and remove redundancies.
Education & Experience

Knowledge of:

  • Building and developing an efficient and effective Infrastructure and Support team within a high performing commercial bank highly preferred
  • Advanced to expert level knowledge with networking concepts and technologies including routing, switching, VOIP, DNS, TCP/IP, etc.
  • Expertise in cloud computing such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Office 365 computing environments.
  • Success as a Network and/or Systems Administrator with knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Print Servers, etc.

Ability to:

  • Attract, retain, and develop top talent within the team and exhibit strong leadership skills with the team.
  • Self-starter motivated to produce results, meet all established goals, objectives, and expectations as well as willingness to expand skills as the Bank's technology platform expands.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written to support documentation and presentation capabilities.

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical certifications from Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco are preferred but not required.
  • Proficient technical skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Benefits and Compensation

Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.

(Base Pay Range: $118,000 - $169,000/year)
