     Date: Oct 15, 2025 Location: Company:  The Advanced Electro-Optical Systems Group specializes in the rapid design and prototyping of innovative electro-optic systems that address challenges facing the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, NASA, and other U.S. government entities. The group maintains broad expertise in satellite systems, electro-optical and infrared sensors, charge-coupled devices, electronics, image processing, and low-size/weight/power optical communications systems. The vertically-integrated group leverages this core expertise to architect, design, prototype, and deploy hardware and software systems in support of mission needs. Position Description
          The Advanced Electro-Optical Systems Group is seeking curious, self-driven students with a passion for learning, exploration, and solving complex problems. As a summer intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and scientists on real-world research, rapid prototyping, and operational system support that directly impact national security.  Summer Research Program Overview
          The Summer Research Program offers students the chance to apply their academic knowledge to real-world national security challenges while working alongside leading scientists and engineers. As an SRP intern, you'll engage in hands-on research, receive dedicated mentorship, and take part in professional development opportunities including workshops, tech talks, and networking events-all while building connections within a vibrant community of peers. 
 Compensation Hourly pay rates below are effective January 2025 - December 2025 and will be reviewed again for Summer 2026. 
 Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
