Position Summary: Responsible for performing pipeline integrity engineering duties such as data analysis of ILI data while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Major Accountabilities:
The primary role of the Pipeline Integrity Engineer is to support the reliability and mechanical integrity of the pipeline assets. Responsibilities may include: * Process reports from Inline Inspections (ILI) and prepare appropriate repair recommendations * Modify the integrity program's plans and procedures to reflect conclusions drawn from integrity inspections and risk analysis * Make technology and reassessment interval recommendations for ILIs * Coordinate with multiple groups to manage excavation and repair of pipeline assets * Contribute to the development of written policies and procedures related to Integrity Management inspection, evaluation, repair and documentation work * Support state and federal compliance audits Education Requirement: Bachelor of Science in Engineering required and 0-3 years of relevant work experience. Experience Requirement: * Strong analytical, technical evaluation, interpersonal and presentation skills * Good organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, work independently with limited supervision in a team environment * Crude oil and refined products pipeline industry preferred * Familiarity with In Line Inspection (ILI) of hazardous liquid pipelines preferred * Knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations, Title 49 Part 195, highly desired * Candidates with demonstrated experience and qualifications may be considered for a higher-level position |
