Cardiac Rehab and Wellness Supervisor - 136420

This position is a full time working supervisor with 50% clinical direct patient care and 50% administrative functions. Directly reports to the Manager of Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness Center.Involves the provision of integrated and accessible cardiac rehabilitation, nutrition and wellness patient care services in an ambulatory clinic environment. Care is provided by clinicians who are accountable for addressing personal health care needs and developing a sustainable partnership with patients. Ensures optimal patient outcomes through effective leadership and / or provision of patient care delivery in the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness clinic. Promotes shared decision-making at all levels to ensure a shared voice in practices, exchange of ideas, enhanced communication, and continually improved patient services. Management levels may also be responsible for clinic operations.

• Responsible for overseeing daily staffing and work assignments with departmental productivity standards maintained.
• Collaborates with Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager and Medical Director to develop and/or implement system, hospital and/or departmental policies, procedures and protocols.
• Works independently as well as collaboratively with department manager, physicians, clinical staff, clinical directors and directors for patient satisfaction, patient care, safety, quality assurance and Performance Improvement initiation and/or participation.
• Daily supervision of exercise room and manages patient throughput to ensure timely access to care and program completion.

• Bachelor's degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training.

• ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist.

• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.

• Three (3+) or more years of Cardiac Rehabilitation experience.

• Demonstrated leadership experience.

• Masters Degree.

• Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
• Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
