The UC San Diego Health system is growing! We are actively recruiting an Occupational Medicine Physician for our Ambulatory Care clinics. The Occupational Medicine Physician is responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses. This role ensures the health and safety of employees through clinical care, workplace assessments, and collaboration with employers and other healthcare professionals.Work station will be shared by both Chancellor Park (La Jolla) and Downtown San Diego locations. This position does not include an academic appointment through the School of Medicine.UC San Diego Health provides a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits and access to all the research and academic capabilities of the University. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • M.D. or D.O. degree

  • Current California Medical License, or ability and commitment to obtain California license prior to start date.

  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience, including experience in an occupation health clinic setting.

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in occupational medicine (preferred), internal, family, or emergency medicine (considered).

  • DOT Certified

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to obtain UCSD Medical Staff privileges and maintain during employment.

  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
