As a Security Officer - Financial Institution - Afternoon Shift in Armonk, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting the security-related operations at a prominent financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring communications, coordinating responses, and maintaining detailed logs to help to deter security-related incidents. You will act as a central point of contact, relaying critical information to on-site personnel and responding swiftly to any incidents or requests for assistance. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment. Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and coordinate incoming and outgoing communications using dispatch systems to support the security-related operations at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to the appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all calls and radio traffic handled during the shift.
• Communicate with on-site personnel to help to deter potential security-related threats and/or unauthorized activities.
• Assist in coordinating emergency response efforts and notifying law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Conduct regular checks of dispatch equipment to confirm functionality and report any issues to management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
