Role Summary

We are seeking a forward-thinking and technically fluent Director of People Analytics (AI/ML) & Products to lead our centralized people analytics and modeling function. This role is responsible for delivering core HR insights, developing user friendly decision support systems, and operationalizing machine learning models that: (1) help shape workforce strategy, (2) improve decision quality across the employee lifecycle, and (3) drive continuous improvement in process automation and workforce design.

This leader will build and manage a multidisciplinary team of people analysts and decision scientists. They will own the end-to-end lifecycle of data-driven products - from exploratory analysis to predictive modeling and GenAI/ Agentic AI development - ensuring insights are not only generated but also embedded into the daily decisions of HR and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of HR dashboards, workforce metrics, and data visualization tools

  • Establish a centralized KPI framework aligned to organizational talent priorities and business strategy

  • Support HRBPs and COEs with scalable, reusable analytics solutions and self-service tools

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to maintain clean, model-ready HR datasets

  • Lead creation of AI/ML-powered decision tools that support talent, engagement, and workforce planning

  • Ensure models are ethical, explainable, auditable, and aligned with company values and compliance standards

  • Partner with behavioral science and workforce systems design teams to embed models into HR core processes and respective business workflows

  • Translate complex analyses and model outputs into actionable guidance for HR and People Leaders

  • Build trust and data fluency across HR through enablement sessions, insight briefings, and modeling playbooks

  • Establish and evolve technical and governance standards for the people analytics function

  • Publish internal white papers, research briefs, and frameworks that shape organizational thinking

Required Qualifications

  • STEM Master's Degree (Data Science, Math, Operations Research, Economics, Statistics,...)

  • 6+ years in analytics, data science, or decision science with experience managing a technical team

  • Deep fluency in descriptive and predictive analytics, machine learning (supervised and unsupervised), and statistical modeling.

  • Experience developing decision support applications leveraging Generative AI and/ or Agentic AI solutions

  • Technical proficiency in Python and/ or R

  • 4+ years of Shiny App development and deployment, including experience using CSS and HTML

  • Ability to translate between technical teams and business stakeholders

  • Understanding of fairness, transparency, and data ethics in HR analytics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience applying AI/ML in talent-related contexts (e.g., attrition modeling, talent segmentation, workforce forecasting, attrition risk predictions, ...)

  • Familiarity with MLOps principles and model lifecycle governance

  • Prior experience in a high-growth, data-driven organization or consulting environment

  • Strong understanding of HR data systems and related HR tech stack

  • Track record of solving problems requiring systems thinking and a continuous improvement mindset (Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen).
