Work closely with Turnaround Control Manager, & Cost Controls Team Lead, DT, and all stakeholders. By consistently applying the TAR cost strategy in outage activities, the expectations of the Senior Cost Controller are to ensure compliance, drive consistency, and improve efficiency, while building sustainable programs in direct support of the business.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for fostering a safe work culture, both directly and through peer influence

• Works closely with all stakeholders

• Serve as a subject matter expert in the TAR cost function.

• Primary Areas of Responsibility

• Manages cost control systems for accurate financial information.

• Prepare and present financial reports to management to aid decision-making processes.

• Monitor the company's expenses, capital and create ways to reduce costs.

• Perform cost-benefit analyses on prospective projects and provide recommendations.

• Ensure compliance with financial standards

• Continuous Improvement

• Operational Excellence and Discipline

• Drive cost visibility

• Effective forecasting for overall turnaround

• Drive consistency in work practices of outages across the subregions to complement business objectives

• Establish Cost Breakdown Structure

• Cap Forms

• Budget versus actuals

• FCO Tracking and Impacts

• Capital versus Expense, not just assumptions but validate

• Forecast accuracy

• Track costs during an outage

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with experience

• 5+ years of experience in Turnarounds Cost Controls

• Proficient in SAP, Advanced Excel skills, Knowledge of P6 scheduling reports is a must.

• Track experience a Plus
