Mission Contribution :

Provide direction, job training, supervision, and support for assigned location to ensure efficient operations to maximize revenues for Mission services.

Summary:

Responsible for efficient and cost-effective operations of assigned location ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Essential Functions:


  1. Supervise and maintain assigned location including personnel, property, and equipment while meeting all safety requirements.
  2. Safely and properly load and unload trailers.
  3. Receive and maintain certification for forklift operations.
  4. Receive and maintain CPR Certification
  5. Managers all Accounts-Payable according to approved selling requirements established by COO, CFO, and VP of donated Goods.
  6. Ensures accurate daily reporting of inventories from each facility. Submits reports in a timely manner.
  7. Conducts safety and maintenance inspections periodically of each facility to verify compliance with regulations and standards.
  8. Maintain required records for inventory and invoicing needs.
  9. Completion of monthly inspections and safety trainings
  10. Communicate to management any equipment defects, maintenance issues, or damages immediately to immediate supervisor.
  11. Provide world-class customer service to all internal and external customers.
  12. Coordinate and oversee local business donor pickups in assigned areas.
  13. Always use proper PPE where and when appropriate as trained.
  14. Exhibit actions and behaviors that are in alignment with Goodwill's core values to Serve, Lead, Include, Mentor, Excel.
  15. Other duties as assigned.

    • If you have a pile, you have a problem. This applies to backrooms, desks, production areas and warehouses.
    • Hard goods should be priority processed.
    • Material handling equipment is for moving donations, not for storage or merchandising.
    • Don't fall in love with your donation; rotation is critical to success.
    • Donor value and transaction value should increase.
    • Profits or ROI should increase.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Ability to develop, provide, and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, team members, customers, and clients.

Training and Experience:


  • One year certificate from college or technical school preferred. Three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the warehouse space.
  • Ability to bend, pull, or reach.
  • Able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds. Over 40 pounds, assistance from another team member is needed.
  • Ability to perform tasks that require repetitive motion. Manual dexterity is required.

Special Requirements:


  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required to drive personal car on company business.
  • Works nights and/or weekends as required.
