Position Summary The Associate Director of University Events is an integral member of the Office of University Events (OUE), managing vendor-partner relationships and production of all signature event experiences strategically designed to elevate visibility and engage constituents while promoting the University's mission and goals. This position leads all facets of signature high-level events, including logistics, operations and budgets; assists with strategic planning and the creation of annual goals and metrics. It is essential that this event planner possess excellent judgement, integrity, flexibility, creativity, a positive attitude and the ability to collaborate and consult. The Associate Director of University Events reports to the Executive Director of University Events within the University Advancement division. Event Management and Execution - 70%

Salary for Announcement Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The anticipated hiring range is $75,000-$85,000 This position is paid monthly and is eligible for MSU Denver benefits.
