What You Will Do

Join Johnson Controls as a Security Solutions Sales Leader and take charge of driving our cutting-edge enterprise security offerings to the forefront of the construction industry. You'll be the face of our advanced security technologies-such as CCTV, card access systems, and integrated enterprise platforms-working closely with general contractors, electrical contractors, and consulting engineers to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions.

While experience with fire systems like Edwards EST, Honeywell, or Simplex is valued, your primary focus will be on security innovation-helping clients protect their people, assets, and operations with confidence. You'll promote the Johnson Controls value proposition by offering strategic, technical, and business solutions that solve real-world challenges.

This is more than a sales manager role-it's a chance to build long-term partnerships, drive customer satisfaction, and position renewable service agreements as a cornerstone of our customer relationships.

How You Will Do It

Lead a high-performing sales team to deliver Johnson Controls' security solutions with confidence, clarity, and conviction.

  • Engage deeply with contractors, consultants, and designers to understand their business goals and align our offerings to help them succeed.

  • Manage multiple complex opportunities, from initial engagement to long-term service agreements.

  • Champion the expansion and renewal of multi-year service contracts, ensuring ongoing value for both new and existing customers.

Build Strategic Relationships

  • Develop trusted partnerships with key stakeholders in the construction community.

  • Listen actively, ask insightful questions, and uncover customer needs.

  • Demonstrate deep technical and business expertise to build credibility and trust.

  • Position Johnson Controls as a security-first partner that delivers innovation, reliability, and long-term value.

Drive Growth and Innovation

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Johnson Controls' strategic vision.

  • Leverage your industry network to expand our reach and influence.

  • Use a consultative approach to match our solutions to customer needs, differentiating Johnson Controls through creativity and innovation.

  • Advocate for the customer internally to ensure they receive the best possible experience and outcomes.

What We Look For

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field-or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling enterprise-level security solutions (CCTV, access control, etc.).

  • Familiarity with fire systems (Edwards EST, Honeywell, Simplex) is a plus, but not the primary focus.

  • Proven success in leading and developing sales teams.

  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

  • Strong integrity, initiative, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to influence key decision-makers and drive strategic outcomes.

Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $60,000-80,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience,knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) Thisrole also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account project, quarterly, and annualmargin. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
