Position Summary This hands-on Facilities and Workplace Lead will take ownership of all corporate office-related operations. This role it requires rolling up your sleeves to ensure projects and daily needs are completed smoothly. The ideal candidate combines practical problem-solving with strong communication skills to partner effectively with employees, leaders, vendors, and building management. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute office projects such as construction, renovations, space planning, and workstation buildouts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day facilities needs, including lighting, electrical, HVAC, and furniture repairs.
- Work directly with vendors, contractors, and property management to schedule and oversee services.
- Coordinate office moves and hands-on reconfiguration of workspaces, furniture, and equipment.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and invoices related to facilities services.
- Maintain a safe, functional, and professional work environment while proactively identifying improvements.
- Balance long-term facilities projects with immediate, hands-on problem resolution.
Education and Experience
- Highschool Diploma/GED required
- Associate's degree in Facilities Management or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities, workplace operations, or office management (corporate setting preferred).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Hands-on skills in troubleshooting and coordinating repairs or office changes.
- Strong organizational, communication, and vendor management abilities.
- Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, electrical, lighting) and construction practices.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and see projects through, from planning to completion.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Regularly required to move throughout the office building, including walking standing, bending and reaching.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry objects, furniture and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent use of hands and tools for assembly, repairs and workspace reconfiguration.
- Occasional climbing of ladders or step stools.
- Ability to work in varied environments and occasionally stand for extended periods of time.
