The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic IT Supervisor to serve as the primary technical point of contact for all IT needs across P1 Service offices. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical support, making it perfect for an experienced IT professional who excels at guiding teams while solving complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for all IT needs across the P1 Service Offices, working collaboratively within the broader IT team and under the direction of the IT Manager
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to local IT team members, setting priorities and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Coordinate workload distribution and scheduling for the local IT team to ensure adequate coverage and efficient service delivery
  • Communicate local IT needs, challenges, and recommendations to the IT Manager
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for both hardware and software issues by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing tasks, and assessing impact to business operations
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve recurring technical issues with the goal of reducing escalations and improving end-user experience
  • Utilize the ticketing system to accurately log work performed, time spent, and remediation steps immediately after each intervention
  • Deploy, install, and manage computers and other devices in accordance with corporate standards
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets used by the local divisions
  • Perform other related duties as required to support P1 Service IT operations

Requirements and Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or a minimum of five years of equivalent IT experience in lieu of a degree)
  • Previous experience in an IT leadership or supervisory role, with proven ability to guide and support technical teams
  • Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions, with excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and managing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a customer-facing role providing technical support and assistance to end users
  • Solid technical knowledge of computer systems, including hardware, software, and networking components
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving complex technical issues related to systems and network infrastructure

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, particularly Microsoft Intune, SharePoint, Exchange, and OneDrive
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new applications, hardware, and software through on-the-job training

Work Environment

  • Office-based with regular travel to other office locations
  • Standard business hours: Monday-Friday, 8-Hour Shift
  • Travel to other Kansas locations required at least 2-3 times a month
  • Mix of desk work, team leadership, and technical support activities
  • In-person position
