Come join our Peak Health team at WVU Medicine as a Specialist, contributing to the foundation for an innovative, new health plan. This position will report to Health Marketing leadership, playing a unique and important role in our mission to change healthcare for the better.
In this role, you will be essential in the execution of marketing initiatives that support Peak Health's strategic business priorities and operational goals. You will also provide expertise in graphic arts, design, and visual standards. The ideal candidate will be able to pivot from strategic to tactical implementation while working across multiple levels within the organization to create marketing and outreach plans and tactics including direct mail, sales collateral, marketing brochures, and website pages. Experience in creating marketing tactics and experience with graphic design are necessary for this role. This position provides expertise in graphic arts and visual standards. Works with staff and leaders to help shape the visual images, content, and layout of Peak Health marketing materials. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, General Business, Graphic Designs or related field. EXPERIENCE: 1. Three (3) years' experience creating marketing materials for internal and external audiences. 2. Three (3) years' experience with Adobe print and imaging software (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects). 3. Three (3) years' experience with design, imaging, and other multi-media programs. Performs a variety of tactical functions to support the timely and successful execution of marketing plans and other activities for the Marketing/Communications Department. 2. Design creative and engaging marketing materials, including brochures, fliers, sales collateral, and member materials that communicate key messages about health insurance products. 3. Collaborate with the marketing and communication teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly content for both internal and customer-controlled materials. 4. Develop and design materials for social media, websites, online ads, and digital presentations that align with our brand identity and marketing strategies. 5. Create infographics and visual aids that simplify complex health insurance information, ensuring it is clear and easily understood by our audience. 6. Ensure consistency in all design materials, maintaining the integrity of the brand's voice, tone, and visual identity. 7. Edit and prepare files for print, digital publishing, and social media campaigns. 8. Responsible for graphic design of Peak Health marketing collateral and other printed pieces, signage, video, and digital marketing tactics. 9. Work on projects that support both external marketing and internal communication needs, such as presentations and reports. Excellent administrative and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. 2. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 3. Strong skills with MS Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). 4. Demonstrated competence in Adobe print and imaging software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). 5. Skill in the acquisition and processing of digital images. 6. Knowledge of printing processes, web design, and video editing programs. 7. Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
