This position is focused on general revenue and expenditure accounting and uses bookkeeping skills to record, review, and reconcile financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Work Schedule This position will have the opportunity for a hybrid (remote and in-office) work location schedule; in-office work will be predominately from Treasury's Salem office . The schedule will be approximately 90+% time spent remote with a minimum of eight times per year in-office presence, spread over each quarter of the year . Additional days in the office may be needed. Salary Range $48,276-$66,900 annually. Job Classification This position is classified as an Accounting Technician. This position is a SEIU represented position . Required Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience calculating, recording, and maintaining accounting information that must include coding transactions and checking them for propriety, balancing, and resolving discrepancies in computer edits; OR One year of experience calculating, recording, and maintaining accounting information that must include coding transactions and checking them for propriety, balancing, and resolving discrepancies in computer editsANDat least 43 quarter (29 semester) credit hours from an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school that includes 9 quarter (6 semester) credit hours in accounting. Credit hours must include introductory level accounting courses 1 and 2; OR Successful completion of the State of Oregon Accounting Career Mobility Program or equivalent accounting certificate program from an accredited college or university; OR At least 94 quarter (62 semester) credit hours or an associate degree from an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school that includes 12 quarter (8 semester) credit hours in accounting. Credit hours must include introductory level accounting courses 1 and 2 and may include any additional accounting courses with "accounting" in the title. Desired Attributes Job Specific Attributes
